A video shows “Superman” actor Chris Pine, who plays the superhero, on a set in his hometown of San Diego, California.
Pine said he was “blown away” by the response from the public to the film.
“It’s the best reaction I’ve ever gotten.
It’s a really positive response, and that’s the only reason I did it,” he said.
Pine has been playing the superhero since the 1980s.
The actor says he loves playing the character, but he says the real motivation for playing the role is “to be in a position to help people.”
Pine said one of the most difficult parts about portraying Superman is getting a “good script” for the role.
He says that sometimes it can be difficult to get a script right.
“We are all writers.
It all depends on who you are, what you’re working with, what the story is, and what the script is,” he told ABC News.
“There are some actors who are really good, who do the best work, but they are often the ones who can’t get the right script.
They just don’t have the experience to know how to work with that.”
The actor said he is working with producer Warner Bros. to get more people involved in the project.
“They’re trying to get everybody involved,” he added.
“I’m trying to be the voice of Superman.
And I’m trying really hard to get this right.”
“Supermans” opens nationwide Aug. 17.
