Popeye, a popular restaurant chain that has long been popular with children and adults, is opening its first location in New York City.
The Popeye restaurant in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan will be one of four restaurants to open in New Jersey next year.
The other four locations are in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
The four restaurants will open in late 2019, early 2020 and late 2021, according to the company.
Popeye opened in the early 1970s in Brooklyn and has been owned by the Popeye Family since the early 1990s.
It is the second restaurant to open for the family, following Popeye on the Rockaway Peninsula.
Popeyes owner Paul F. Popeye said the chain is opening a new location in NYC because it is “the first city in the country” where Popeye’s “family-friendly, family-owned restaurants will be open to our customers.”
The Popeyes will have a total of 25 restaurants, but the new location will have 15.
Families and visitors will be able to get free Popeye sandwiches, a new menu featuring fresh, seasonal items, and more.
The restaurant will have live entertainment, including pop-up musical performances and a movie theater.
The chain’s first location opened in Brooklyn in 1973, according the company’s website.
It opened in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 2006.
It was the first Popeye location in North America and one of the oldest in the world.
