But how does one counter-attack?

To change the font size, use the arrows on the map to the right of the map.

If you hover your cursor over an area to see a larger view, you will see a more detailed map of the area.

If your mouse pointer moves to a different part of the image, you are looking at different areas of the same area.
In some cases, you may be able to see the areas that are in your view.
