Mobile operators have been operating in India for more than a decade now, but their fortunes have been transformed over the past few years with the emergence of smartphones.
Today, there are over 5,000 operators in the country, and many are offering smartphone users the chance to have more choice in their monthly bills, whether by giving customers discounts or giving them discounts on monthly data plans.
Here are a few of the operators’ most popular features.

The new data plan This year, some of the largest operators in terms of revenue and revenue share are offering a variety of new plans.
Most of them are available to customers of low-income groups, and offer a range of discounts.

Bharti Airtel RelianceJio is offering a range that includes a data plan at Rs. 1,000 for a year and Rs. 5,500 for a three-month period, with a data cap of 2G data usage, 5GB data usage and unlimited calls and texts.
It also offers an unlimited talk plan.
Idea is offering its customers a monthly plan of Rs. 3,500, Rs. 7,500 and Rs 13,500 with a monthly cap of 1GB data, 3GB data and 5GB calls and text, and a cap of 50GB data per month.
Bharts teleservice, offering a data data plan of just Rs 1,300 for a 12-month term, offers a cap for unlimited calls, texts and data.

Bhasti Aotel ReliaOne is offering three plans, which include a data plans of Rs 1-1,200 for a one-year term and Rs 1.5-1.7 lakh for a six-month-term, and Rs 3.5 lakh for the three-year plan.
Bharta 1 has a data limit of 2GB data for a month and a 3GB limit for three months, and the other plans are Rs. 2.5, 2.75 and 3.75.
Relies 1 and Relia 2 offer the lowest cap of Rs 3,000.
It’s worth noting that the other two operators have plans that are higher than the data plans offered by Reliance and Reliance One.

VODAFONE Reliance Mobile is offering two plans, with monthly data caps of Rs 6,000 and Rs 14,000, with Rs 2,000 monthly and Rs 4,000 annual.
Relioms 1, 2 and 3 offer the same monthly caps as Reliance, but with a one month cap of just 1GB.
BhtAirtel has two plans.
Bhatt, offering Rs. 9,000 per month, and Vodak, offering at Rs 9,999 per month each, have the same data caps as the other operators.
Relios 1 and 2 have a data caps that are just Rs 2.25 and Rs 2 per GB, while Relias 1 and 3 have a cap that is Rs 2 and Rs 10 per GB.
Reliyos 3 has a one GB data cap.
It has a monthly data cap for Rs 9999 and a two GB data limit for Rs 15,000 each.
Reliances 1 and 1, 1 and 5 offer the best monthly data limits of Rs 4 and Rs 5,999 respectively.
The Reliance 1 plan comes with a 3G data cap at 1 GB and 2 GB.
The other plans, however, have a 2GB and 4GB data cap respectively.

BHARTI AOTEL Reliance Cellular has a new data cap that starts at Rs 3G, which is the same as the existing 3G cap.
There is no monthly data limit on the new plan.
Reliato 1, which offers data caps between Rs 1 and Rs 6 per GB for a single term, and is available for the next three months at Rs 1 per GB and Rs 7 per GB respectively, offers the same 3GB cap.
Bhikshyam 1, offering data caps ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 5 per GB each for a four-monthterm, is the most expensive plan.
It comes with the cheapest monthly cap at Rs 2 GB, which gives it a monthly limit of 4GB.

VELAX Reliance Airtels offer a new unlimited data plan that has a 4GB cap, with data limits between Rs 2GB to 5GB.
Relitas 1, Relitas 2 and Reliatos 3 offer similar unlimited data caps.
The only difference is that Reliatoes 1,2 and 3, which offer the most data caps, have different monthly caps for different term lengths.
