GALVESTON, Texas — The opera “Arianne” will open to a sold-out crowd at the Galveston Opera House in Galvestons first opera of the season.
The opera will open on May 3 and will run through May 18, 2017.
It is an adaptation of “Aeneas and the Argonauts” by James Fenimore Cooper and William Shakespeare, which has a cast of 13.
In addition to the cast, there will be musical performances by the cast of “The Tempest” and “Richard III.”
It will be a limited production, with only 1,500 seats available.
